I would just like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, it is difficult to understand how our industry has suffered in 2020 and harder to see how and when it will start to recover, but I am sure that knowing how strong you all are and with the great people that work with you once the green light is given you will all be back stronger than ever and show everyone the true meaning of Hospitality.
On a lighter not the above photo was a New Years Eve at the Lanesborough Hotel, probably in December 1993, how time flies, an amazing shot, our F&B Manager at the time was Jeremy Goring, next to me and at the back on the left is Michael West, now Jason Atherton’s Executive General Manager, also Carolyn Collins who was our Breakfast Manager who then went on to run the Wolseley morning team for many years – despite living in Southampton, what a great team we had!
