The team behind Home SW15 have a background of opening relaxed and welcoming local, neighbourhood restaurants and bars. Craig and “the two Freddie’s” met whilst working at Charlotte’s Bistro in West London where they won several accolades including Chiswick’s Best Loved Local 2015 in Time Out and the Waitrose Readers’ Restaurant of the Year 2015 for London. The boys left Charlotte’s in August 2017 to open their own place in South West London. They have created what they feel Putney has always been missing; a really buzzy all day restaurant with a fantastic bar selling a cracking cup coffee in the morning and delicious ‘Made @ Home’ cocktails in the evening.
We want Home to be a ‘home from home’, a place to relax and feel welcomed. Our guests should feel looked after – and that means genuine hospitality, a fantastic bar and food that leaves you feeling happy and well. Home SW15 is open morning ‘til night, 7 days a week serving comforting, yet innovative, modern British food in a space designed to make you feel at home.
The Great Northern Hotel
The Great Northern Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of King’s Cross St Pancras. The Grade II listed building, originally designed by Lewis Cubitt, has been exquisitely refurbished and features over ninety luxurious rooms. The restoration has seen many of the hotel’s original features retained and the redesign reflects all the style and class of this iconic building’s past.
The hotel is home to Plum and Spilt + Milk an elegant restaurant serving classic British and European dishes. Acclaimed chef Chris Fordham-Smith heads up the kitchen and the menu is built around the finest locally sourced British ingredients cooked simply, but creatively. One of the most beautiful dining rooms in King’s Cross, Plum + Split Milk evokes the old-world glamour of luxury travel.
